LIVE 8 “BREATHE” and “BREATHE REPRISE”

I mentioned before how the best proof of my story is how my voice is used on the song “Breathe” on the album PULSE. And how it was recorded in Detroit and the recording was used in PULSE and other concerts like “Live 8”.

I just realized this yesterday:

On July 2, 2023 Pink Floyd posted about the anniversary of their concert at “Live 8” on their online social media pages.

When Pink Floyd reunited for the “Live 8” concert, they combined “Breathe (In the air)” and “Breathe (Reprise)” something they had never done before.

While listening to it again yesterday, I realized that the co lead singer’s voice on “Breathe Reprise” sounded just like the voice on “Breathe”, which is mine. So I thought, did Gilmour use my voice on “Breathe Reprise” too? I guess so. I remember singing that part in Detroit. It was quite shocking after all these years to find this out.

Backing vocal lyrics from “Breathe Reprise” are:

“Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell..Calls the faithful to their knees..To hear the softly spoken magic spells”

During “Live 8” they don’t show anyone lip-syncing my voice into a microphone. And they kept Jon Carin hidden in smoke or behind a curtain from what I had heard. Roger was mouthing the words, but he wasn’t singing.

On both “PULSE” and “Remember that Night” Jon Carin is seen lip syncing my voice on “Breathe” and “Breathe Reprise”.

Also yesterday, on the anniversary of “Live 8”, on Instagram and YouTube, Pink Floyd posted a short clip of the “Live 8” show. But they didn’t mention or show “Breathe” or “Breathe Reprise”. Most fans were complaining in the comments. I saw that as a clue, then I listened to the full “Live 8” show and heard my voice on both “Breathe” and “Breathe reprise”.

Maybe that’s why people didn’t believe me about my voice on “Breathe”. Because “Breathe Reprise” backing voice sounds just like it, and I didn’t mention it.

I remember back in 2005, after the “Live 8” show, the Pink Floyd newsgroup fans were talking about how Jon Carin was hidden in smoke behind a curtain. It gave another meaning to the message above the stage “No More Excuses”. I had no more excuses to say it was Carin singing because they didn’t show anyone lip-syncing my taped voice.

There was another clue given during Live 8. The band waited until 11:11 to start. 11 11 or German for ELF ELF is a clue I explained earlier.

“Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells”

The above are important old lyrics because they told a new story about The Division Bell meaning. During PULSE you hear the bell from The Division Bell played during the lyrics “tolling of the iron bell”. That’s the Enigma of it, when old lyrics tell a new story.

I know some people don’t believe me, but check out what I’m saying for yourself. David Gilmour is still helping me get the story out. Fans should believe in him. No more excuses!

Also another clue. During the song “Breathe” at Live 8 during the lyrics “the sun”…the camera went behind Nick’s drums. As I’ve said before my screen name on the Pink Floyd Newsgroup was thesun and I was a drummer.

Just another reminder that all the clues I’ve been given over the years haven’t only been for me, they’re for you, the Pink Floyd fans and others. I’m just the messenger. That’s why I’m not interested in profiting off it. The story has always been for me to share. So don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

It really is amazing if you’ll give it a chance and trust in it. For me, the clues help to tell the story, so I can get justice. Getting the story out in the media is the goal to make it happen. I can’t say how important this all is, but when it happens you’ll know. Then maybe we’ll all get the prize. New music could be one.
